Day 14

So yesterday was AMAZING!! The day started with a private tour of what we thought was the "Noble" Museum... ok that sounds interesting. We arrive and the gate opens to a beautiful villa overlooking the Mediterranean sea.

Bam! The Nobel Museum is not what we expected.  It is the home of Alfred Nobel, you know of this little thing called the Nobel Peace Prize.  Who knew he invented dynamite!  Oh and tons of other things.

We were able to see and touch the actual desk where weeks before his death he re-wrote his will to include the Nobel Peace Prize. The Story could be an entire post on its own.

Upon leaving we enjoyed a walk along the Italian Riviera and then got some lunch at a swanky sea side restaurant.

We then drove about 20 minutes to another seaside town where we were able to see an olive oil museum. We saw vats dating from 600 bc and were able to see the history and development of olive oil.

A trade mark on a old Roman Vat for oil
Followed by a tasting of 5 types they make and then jams, sauce,s and food made with the oil.

Then we toured the City Center which was beautiful.

Lastly we had this dinner (I forgot to take a photo of the 3rd course so add one more plate landing in front of me)...... I may not eat for a week.
